What kind of power are you looking for and how built (if at all) will the engine be?

LS is 1.8 litre and B20 is 2 litres. So with the B20 you will have a little more torque to play with. Are you planning on going turbo?

I dono.. I've heard of the ls/vtec's putting out some really impressive torque #'s on the dyno, built of course.

plus... ls blocks are fairly cheap and easy to find. and people are always parting out motors. Then you have to take it to a machine shop and make sure the head will fit up right. I still think the ls/vtec would be cheaper and make you a happier camper.

haah well its 2 litre vs. 1.8 litres so you can say that as much as you want but 2.0 litres will make more torque. Its just the way it is. The B20B long block can be had for $500. But yes since there are a billion LS/RS/GS integras around you should be able to find a B18b with no troubles.

Lol

H22, there is a lot more required in this. You can't just put a Vtec head on an LS block and be set to go. We only wish it was that easy.
