Motor burning oil

I have a 1994 Civic w/ a stock 1.5 liter w/ approx. 178,000 miles on it, recently it has started burning oil, now almost a quart a week...what can I do to fix this problem?

Mine was using about the same amount at 140K. Are you sure it's burning it trough the engine, or is there a leak anywhere?
