Need help with " Oil Filter Sandwich Adapter"

sup everyone, my friend gave me this oil pressure guage along with the light show fuel air meter guage,

I have a 99 civic ex coupe, with the d16y8 stock engine,

my question is do you guys know how to install this bad boy

my buddy who gave it to me told me to get a Oil Filter Sandwich Adapter, but i dont know what size, and if the guage would fit into it. i got some links to these Oil Filter Sandwich Adapter.

just buy the kind that says it's for honda. it will say on the listing.

Ohhhh, wait, you have a analog gauge. Well, you could still use my method. But you're just asking for oil to leak all over with one of those gauges. Personally, I'd get a digital gauge.

how much would those electrical oil units run about?? just because i got them for free and if its not that expensive then id buy

the ebay version will there be more leaks or will there be leaks in genrial ?? because if so i'll give it away lol dont need any extra problems

It's that style of gauge that is very susceptible to leaks. The gauge required you to send oil in that tube from the engine to the gauge inside the car. If that tube gets a hole anywhere along that line fro rubbing under the dash you'll get some fun oil slicks.

If you wanted to use that gauge, get some copper tubing and a end flaring tool to make a solid path from the engine to the gauge.

too much work lol for an automatic coupe lol, just wanted it for show lol, u want the meter??
