newbie ? How can I identify a VTech motor

My son and I are new to Honda. So how can you Identify a V-Tech motor? What do you look for? Chevy 350 no problem but V-Tech I need to learn!!! Teach this old dog some new tricks YO thanks Toby

Its VTEC not V-Tech and look for this little vtec solinoid [sp?] on your head.
