if no brand, do you happen to know the size of the original pulley on the alternator grooves?

With this info I can calculate it to tell you how long the new belt needs to be.

and the 51/2 diameter... is this in inches, centimeters, what?

 

the alternator has 4 grooves just like the new crank pulley. yes 51/2 inches the only size of belt i tried to use was a 27.5 and the orignal is a 30.5 4 groove

you sure it's inches, that would make your crank pulley 25.5" in diameter...

 

its 21/2 inch pulley on the alternator

 

the orignal crank pullet is 6.5 inches in diameter

is the new pulley smaller or bigger than the old one?

 

its roughly around a 1.5inches smaller than the old one

 

so the new crank pulley is around 5" in diameter?

is the alternator pulley aftermarket too?
