A Pretty Basic Question(s)....I Think???
so i take it the B18c1 is or is the same as the GSR. and it has about 20 more horses. right? and what about it being street legal? and on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the highest)...how much better would the B18 be over the B16 when the dust settles? (seriously) <-- i say this because if it is not that much of a significance....then i might as well get a B16 now rather than spending about a 1,000 more for something that isn't that much better. thanks a lot of the knowledge you guys have given me so far. appreciate it!
Do you plan to turbo, and drop in some parts/money? Or do you just want to run a stock motor, just so you have a little more pick-me-up when youre driving around town?
And yes, the B18C1 is the same as a GSR.

the Gs-R was a generation of Integra. that integra came with the b18c1 underhood. since the b18c1 came in the GSR integra...its also referred to as the GSR engine...GSR for short.
so yeah...the b18c1 is a GSR.
i think in the end youd be happier with the GSR than the SiR. more torque, and it can be bored and stroked to have the same, if not more, displacement than the H22.

i plan on turboing it and/or putting some parts in it.....but not for a while.....for right now i'd rather just have it stock for driving to school and around town.
if ur gunna turbo in the future the best path would be a GSR with an SIR head on it to lower compression and raise flow...but stock for stock im pretty sure that with the bore/stroke ratio and the head the SiR would be the better choice.
