rod knock? NO compression

how do i fix the rod knock and i know i need a new head gasket but what are some other factors, is that the only thing that i would have to replace in order to compression back to normal?????

alot....

like all the rotating assemblies bearings, prolly rebalence the crank and rotating assembly if it got hot and warped at all.
