everyonce in a while when i race my car. when i go to put it in second at about 6500 rpms (7500 red lines) i will put the clutch all the way down and it will gring and not go into second? this doesnt happen everytime just veryonce in a while. it doesnt do it when im just driving around?

 

synconizer in the trans. sounds like
bleed your clutch just to make sure its going out all the way when you push the pedal in

 

yeah, i had the same problem. i just bought a used trans from an old ladies civic and it shifts good now. its the synchros.

 

I'm not sure if I fully understand. Your in first, once you hit 6500 you push the clutch all the way down then pull into 2nd? So the grind comes between first and second you're saying??

Nevermind.. Youre trying to go into second and it wont let you, even though your foot is all the way down on the clutch???
