Default Turning over but Wont Start

I have an 89 DX. I had just changed the oil in it about an hour ago and had it sitting in the driveway idling. After about 15 minutes of idling it died. Now it will turn over strong, not sluggish or anything, but wont start or even sputter. I had it Die on me twice before. Once when I stopped at a red light about 3 weeks ago. I had it towed, didn't touch it for a couple days, Then it just started back up fine. Then About one week ago I stopped at a stop sign and it stalled. I tried starting it and it would only turn over. Sat there for about 5 minutes then it started right back up. What could this be? The alternator, distributor cap? Any ideas?

No, im gonna try starting it again in the morning. But even if it does start what could be causing it to stall like this?

well if its the alt then jumping it would get it to start and then it would die again. but by the same theory, if jumping it doesnt work then its not the alt.

The starter will draw the most current out of any electrical component in your car. If you battery has enough energy to turn the starter at a good speed, there is no problem with the battery therefore no need for a jump start. First check for spark.

Well ti started right back up this morning no problem. I didnt even mess with anything. What berz is saying about the igniter makes sense to me. Cause every once in awhile, few times a month, whenever I go to accelarate from a stop it wont jump real quick. It will sputter some then start going.
