Default Underdrive Pulley

[color=#000066][size=3]Does anybody know what size belt to get for a aftermarket underdrive pulley. I got the one off procarparts.com it is the:
HONDA CIVIC 96-00 1.5/1.6L CNC MACHINED BILLET ALUMINUM UNDERDRIVE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY. If anyone knows please tell me because I can't get the right one.

I don't recommend getting under drive pulleys. They are really not worth it. You only get like 3-5 HP and you gotta pay a good amount for them. They also will give u less alternator output as well as reduced A/C performance.

The only problem is I already bought the underdrive pulley, so I am just trying to find a belt for it now.

Its going to give you more trouble than its worth. If you are running anything bigger than a stock stereo system I would not recommend installing it.

IMHO I know people that love underdrive pulleys, but like it was mentioned above not good for aftermarket stereos but if it is just the crank pulley and not the underdrive alt pully too it shouldn't be to bad a higher output alternator would help recover the lost power for the stereo, or add a huge farad cap that stores battery power for the Amp(s) Remember 2-5 hp here and there add up

Eh, adding a higher output alternator is just going to eat more power off of the crank, so its like cancling eachother out, and just spending more money.

you could just get a smaller pulley for your alternator.

How does the underdrive pulley effect aftermarket stereos?

if i was gonna get another pully kit i would go with unorthadox racing pulleys because they are the same size as factory and are just lighter weight so you dont lose any power output from the alternator. And they are less mass for the engine to move but same size

It spins the alt. slower so it puts out less current
