Dont do i/h/e if you plan to turbo, chances are all theywill goto waste because with a turbo, you will replace all of those when you install it.

Do a complete swap, dont do spread it out, you would probably get a trans anyway with a d16Z6, and it would be cheaper. Plus, you have to rip out the engine and do alot of workgoingfrom auto to man., you might as well get it all dont at once. much less hassle.

 

you would do the tranny and engine swap at the same time, i don't think i will be able to afford a turbo for a little while, so i guess i would just leave it as a stock swap

 

try to get an engine that comes with the transmission. you can find a lot of engines in good condition on ebay.

then with your 1000 buy i/h/e thatll bebetween$500-700 depending on how cheap you go,and get those sweet pulstar spark plugs they are like $24.95a plug and they give you 10% more hp and torque, from what ive read. now your up to $600-800

finally get yourself a chipped ecu from phearable, tell him your mods and he will send you a sweet basemap that will add another 10whp cuz he will correct your a/f for your i/h/e.. those are $200

theres your grand, after you do your swap of course, but it would at least put you up to being 130-140whp, which is as fast if not faster than a b16

unless your going big with a turbo, then ignore what i said, but if you want to go n/a and just want a little more pep in your step thats how i would do it... but i would have nitrous [sm=badbadbad.gif]

 

That engine looks good, but remember you need the tranny and ECU also, so that will cost you $825 plus shipping andhandling(expensive)from that site. you might be able to find a better deal on ebay.

That turbo kit is good of course, but you can surely piece together your own kit for cheaper.

 

thats only 127HP to the crank, not the wheels though.

You should buy the plugs that are indicated for use on your timing belt cover (one step colder than those if you're running turbo).

10% more HP and torque from sparkplugs can't be true.

 

for a turbo can the same one be used for the d16z6 and d15b, i'm gonna look at the junk yard for motor and tranny too

 

If you dont find anything you can do with the grand, you could always give it to me..

 

they ignite 2x faster than normal plugs, making fuel ignite 2x faster, meaning your piston gets thrusted down harder burning the same ammount of fuel.. causing more hp and torque
