well, for top-end, it is close to the output of a turbo (factory turbo) look at the output of stock turbo cars power/displacement ratios. not many are higher than the dohc vtecs, and a lot are lower. but that says nothing of the low and mid-range power of the turbo over a smaller NA vtec motor.
