Installed Bixenons yesterday and picked up a skunk2 short shifter. Me and a buddy drove down some of the windiest roads we have to try them out and have alittle fun. Have to admit they're BRIGHT, I find it funny though how it takes a second for the Highbeams to warm up to actually get pure white. I'm going to drive to a parts store today and see if I can buy some Poly bushings and install my short shift.

what you mean for your high beams to warm up? yours use 2 hid bulbs? my bixenons use a electro magnet to move the bulb for a high beam pattern.....

that just sounds odd with 4 ballasts. you got pictures of the bulbs and ballasts?
this is what mine does with the bixenon...

i bought 3 pairs of them. one for each civic and one for spare parts just incase i ever had a problem.
2ballasts and 2 bulbs.
ive heard the worst thing for HIDs is flashing them ON and OFF because the capacitors dont have enough time to charge for the next turn ON. not exactly sure but thats what i was told to try to avoid.

Addiction I pm'd you to stop spamming the thread.

TRIED to install my shifter today, but apparently no one carries shifter bushings for a 00 civic. I called a few parts stores and they've all said they don't carry the product or have never heard of it and to call the Honda dealership. I instead Ebay'd and bought some Energy Shifter bushings, I then also ordered off of www.imageinmotion.com a Skunk2 440gram Shifter ****. Hopefully next weekend I'll be sporting the shortshift and ****
