Just repaired a nice chip in my windshield with Permatex Bullseye. Either a large pebble, a golf ball, or a 24mm nut hit my windshield on the freeway, 120 km/h (75mph) + however fast the object was travelling. Scared the hell out of me

Has to sit in the sun for 1/2 hour, we'll see how it turns out.

It could have been the tiniest thing. I bet that if a golf ball or 24mm nut hit the windshield at 75MPH it would have gone straight through it.

Yeah, it definitely wasn't anything as big, and heavy as a 24mm bolt, that would probably make a hole the size of a softball in the windshield, and I'd like to think my eyes are good enough to spot an incoming golf ball.

Either way, it was the loudest thing that's ever hit a windshield in any of my vehicles. A golf ball would've been cool, the windshield is a perfect, oversized pitching wedge, good for 1000 yards.

Well i seem to be on a roll so far this season,

I have been keeping my eyes peeled on Cragslist to see if i get lucky on a pair of rims and low and behold i scored today.

there Konig free falls and i got them for 300 with tires. I think i did pretty good, what do you guys think?

I have to give them a good cleaning but only two rims have some slight curbage and a few little scratches here and there. There are no bends or dings in the rims to speak of and the tires will prob need to be replaced next season.

I just replaced my headlight bulbs with some bright whites. One of the original bulbs finally burned out so I decided to get the brightest I could. Made a HUGE difference...

Got a new Honda cap and rotor. Original ones have 163k on so I hope to see a difference with the new ones. Think I might order that highflow cat so I can install my header.
