today i cleaned it up a bit. vacumed it for the first time had it for about 9months.LOL

also painted my steelies gunmetal color.
and installed my 99-00 rear seat. and just alittle info on 96-98 people the seats are alittle different. the 96-98 has only 2 steel hooks and the 99-00 has 3 and NONE of them line up.LOL so i had to cut off all 3 and just leave the front loose. but the rear back bolt still ines up at least. also the hinges on the sides are different. so if you upgrade be sure to get the hinges also

tomorrow ill give the civic a quick wash before i go to my car show. and hopefully i can get a trophy or two again this year

-replaced primary O2 sensor
-replaced cat with another specific for my car lol
-washed and waxed

I originally ordered a magnaflow high flow cat, installed it, later on it threw a check engine light. CEL said Cat was bad, I'm like no way. So I think maybe the cat/secondary O2 sensor is going bad, but it's not telling me yet. I replace that, CEL still on after reset.

So I look online again for a magnaflow cat for my civic and it pulls up a different model # than the one I have. I call them up, ask them what year civic is my cat for, they say 96-98(at the time they said 96-00) and that I need one for a 99-00.

When I originally put it on I noticed the O2 sensor sits on the pipe after the cat, but the OEM cat has the sensor hole in the middle of the cat.

So I ordered the new CORRECT cat, matches the OEM and has it's own heat shield already mounted. It even looks like better quality than the one for the 96-98 even though they're both magnaflow.

BTW anti-seize is the best thing anyone could buy, no more penetrating oil and hammer to remove stuck bolts

Even though the O2 sensors were never bad, I went ahead and replaced both because they each had 155k on them and sooner or later they'd go bad. Autozone wanted $195 each for primary and secondary bosch sensors. I got the same one's on amazon for about $80-$90 each.

Next on to-do list: replace headliner and sunroof cover, put some foam padding in all armrests, replace rear blown speakers...again...wtf is my problem with these?!?!?!

Now that my cel is gone, time for 1 month overdue inspection.

If you wrote about it sooner I would have suggested installing a J tube on the Cat. I was pulling a code after my cat was installed and the J tube solved everything. Ill post a pic if you don't know what I mean... If i can reach underneath with my camera.

I didn't jack up the car so these are the best pictures I could get, and because of how bright it is outside It was screwing with my camera.

I had the car in the shop this week for a full tune up with gad filter, plus an oil change. I had the windows greased since they were a bit slow and the passenger one is still slow so i may need a new motor on that side.

Interior wise i added a second set of tweeters up front and a set in the rear as well since i had a second set laying around. Ill need to take some pics later since i didn't have the cam with me but all in all it went well.
