Today I did my quarterly maintenance. I checked tire pressure. (all 4 were low. Oops.) I lubricated my window tracks with silicone spray lube. While I was at it, I went ahead and oiled up the hinges on all 4 doors. I cleaned out a lot of the trash. But most importantly (...maybe), I lotioned and cleaned my leather seats. My primary emphasis was getting the brake fluid spill off the back seat. There was only mixed success.

I need to go get an oil change and I need to change out my fuel filter. 123K miles on the original one... it's probably due.

 

Washed it
Buffed it with DA and polishing compound
washed again
Put on Turtle Wax Ice spray wax
Put on Turtle wax wet n black

Looks sweet!

 

Last weekend i pulled the motor and trans out to drop a new motor in.
I drained all the gas out of the gas tank to put fresh gas in. I hope this coming weekend i can drop the new motor in and get it back on the road. Then it will be off to the body shop to get a small dent by the rear bumper fixed and repainted.

 

did a tire rotation. changed my oil and oil filter. and changed the oil on my girlfriend's car as well

 

On a whim I painted all the random metal mounts (like radiator mount, wire mounts). Not done but here's a pic (unfortunately taken right before I cleaned the bay):

Also got some new Drag DR-20 15s with new Falken Ziex tires ($500 off CL). Pics will come later

Its been a while since I have been on this forum. Found one that is geared all to non vtec. So I guess it time for an update. Civic has been lower 2.5 inches, camber kits added, new Falken 195/60r14 tires. Today I changed my oil, instead of Mobile1 I used Quaker State Advanced 5w30. Reset my alignment for better tire wear. I didnt like the slightly negative camber look or tire wear. Had my car tuned with hondata a few months ago made 133whp and 127ftlbs. Added a 99 Si logo to the trunk in the EOM location. Those who remember me know I have a B18b1 not a B16. I have destroyed a few B16s on the road. Well thats about it.

 

I cleaned inside and outside of my car and waxed it, cleaned my rims real good, bout to check tire pressure and clean my engine bay

 

I had a headlight go out. I went and got some Silverstars, but remembered I had a spare 9003 bulb from an old totalled Civic, swapped that in, and returned the Silverstars. I hate being so broke because those would have looked so much better. Cheap fix.
