I have a 95 civic 1.5 16 valve engine and my owners manual says trailoring will void the warranty !!!

WHY IS IT ???? Would it be a bad choice to trailor my 700lb motorcylcle with a 300lb trailor
1000lbs give or take ???

I just want to talk to other civic owners before i take the risk !!!!

 

Do you really think a less than 100 HP engine is going to pull something that weighs about half the weight of the car? 1000 lbs is way too much to haul on the back of a Honda. Unless your going down hill all the way, dont do it. Civics arent made for hauling anything but ***.

 

I wouldnt try it at all. Ever seen a civic with a tow hitch? They are already slow as hell...

yah your probably better off putting the civic on the trailor and pulling it with the bike!!! lol not smart plus it looks like total **** when i see someone in a 4banger pulling a trailor.

 

i saw a newer modle civic pullin a enclosed trailer that weighed atleast 2000 pouns it was slammed in the back !!!

I pulled the trailer with my 92 teg 1.8 fine !!!!
