same thing happened to me. mines happend to me when i got to my school for my soccer game. luckly it happened when i got into the parking lot. but then i had to replace it after my game which then was dark out. so i had a fun time replacing it in the dark. and then couple days later...one nlew that goes out of the back of the engine, loops like a u and then goes back into the engine. that one was a pain in the ***.
Are you sure? That one doesn't seem to have any problem, leaks or anything. The one that's busted and need to replace is one in the back of the engine that goes to the thermostat. The coolant came right out of there to all over the battery, filters, part of the engine and the hood. When I was trying to repfill the coolant to cool the engine and try to make it home, I could see the coolant coming out of that hose as I was putting it in.
One question, how do I check if my intake manifold is working properly and pulling a good amount of air into the engine?
do you have a good air filter?
Nope that is why I am getting a cold air intake being shipped to me today but, I am talking about the manifold itself. How do I know if its pulling the air as it should and its not slow or something?
Another question, I found out that the 96 engine that I have was suppose to have a short peace header with a three way catalytic converter that uses two o2 sensors. I don't have that and apparently only one o2 sensor. Does that affect the car's driving much or at all?
you should have a cel on if it requies 2 o2's and only have 1
difference between low temp and high temp is well self explainitory
one will open up and keep motor low temp
and the other will stay closed longer til it gets a higher temp this one is best used for up north for cold winters since your car's heat runs off the water from the engine
