Speaking of catalytic converter, I am trying to figure out if I should buy one now and which one to buy. What do you guys think of these $30 ebay catalytic converters, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-93...=p4506.c0.m245? Since I already bought the header with the down pipe, I can't get the regular short header/ catalytic converter now.

The cel code is on because the previous owner must have build the car with spare parts.

Anywho, I have bought a new thermostat, valve cover gasket and more coolant to refill. My ebay parts should be in this week. I have also bought an ebay cat. Now lets just hope the rain stop and it gets sunny again to do the works.

Did you ever check what ECU you are running? I'd imagine a 96 engine and a 95 ECU do not play well together.

It looked tightly tuck in there so, I haven't take the time to see how I can pulled it out. Which one should it have and how will I be able to tell which one it is?

Can you post a link to the ebay listing?

Yep, that's a test pipe, not a cat.

Well since you guy's are talking about a 95 civ, I will just post here. I need some advice, I just bought a 95 civic, it's gutted, has a cage, and is a circle track car. I need to get some more power out of the engine to be a little more competitive. All I know is it's a 95 civic, and has a 1.6 vtec engine. I am used to working with v8's and less limitation's on what I can, and cant do. I need the car to look stock, so turbo's, supercharger's, air intake kit's, and header's are out. I was thinking along the line's of bigger valve's, spring's, bigger cams, ecu upgrade's, bigger injectors, and some porting of the stock head. I don't need a lot more power, but any advice would be appreciated.

No, your post is completely irrelevant. When that happens you should start your own thread.

To answer your question (i'll just do it here since you've already asked), the only option you have is to build the engine or swap the engine. For questions of what parts you should use specifically and other further questions, please start your own thread.
