Look for an intake air or vacuum leak and also clean the IACV. Is the CEL ON?

no check engine light at the moment. was coming on the other day, but when the light came on, the car idled ok when i stopped. kill the car, start it back up and cel is off.

Pull the carpet back below the glove box to see whether the LED of the ECU is blinking a code.

Next time the CEL turn ON, be sure to read the blinking code from the ECU. In addition to my other suggestions, also try bleeding the cooling system.
