95 Civic Brake Pad Ques

Default 95 Civic Brake Pad Ques

I dont really know if my car has locking breaks or not I dont see an ARS light but the manual I bought says they are locking brakes but i bought the ones that arnt since i dont see an ARS light on my dash. Just making sure I got the right brakes

95 Civic EX has Anti-Lock brakes. If the pads fit, fine. I don't think there are special pads for abs brakes.

If you have ABS, there will be a wire leading down to a sensor at the wheel hub (on the inside). And the ABS light on the dash should light up and go out every time you start the car, or something is wrong with the system.

But I also thought the brake pads were the same.

The CV axle is different because the outer joint has teeth on it to drive the sensor.

ok thanks the guy at auto zone said the pads are different but i never trust what they say due to they almost never know what they are talking about with an exception for a few so i wanted to see what you guys say thanks
