Default ac help

ok, here is the deal. When i switch the fan on from 0 to 1, i can feel the ac compressor kick on, but nothing blows out of the vents until 3 or higher. So, the signal is getting to the compressor to kick on, but nothing happens in the cabin until level 3, what gives? any ideas?

Sounds like you have a short between the switch and your in-cabin blower. Do you have any experiance with tracing down wiring troubles?

It really depends on the circuit. What year and trim is your car, and I wil see if I can get you a schematic to work from.

Blower resistor, or less likely the switch itself. The resistor is mounted in the blower housing you can see it after taking the glove box out.
