anyone noticed their car is slow?
because i think i've just finalized in knowing that mine is [:'(]maybe cause i need vtec in my life?
wow this also just came to mind, could this be making my car slower?! my compressor is making this loud noise constantly, it's the same noise as when your backing up fast the high pitched kinda choke, that. could that be making me feel slower? or is it just placebo effect?

I get close to 400 miles to a tank of gas if I drive like a granpa, which I do most of the time. And yes, I have come to realize its dreadfully slow...hence the 300hp engine build

I start looking for a gas station around 250 or so.. I think my record was 330-something... what confuses me is that civics are supposed to have a 12-gallon tank, aren't they? The most I've ever put into mine was something like 8.7 gallons.
Anyway, yeah, my civic seems slow. I'm thinking it's about 90% because it's an auto lol... hopefully if I get the rsx (even though it's a base), it'll feel a ton faster... at least until my butt dyno needs re-calibrating lmao

11.6 gallons is the most mine has ever taken. I ran it what seemed like forever with the gas light on. Usually its around 10 gal (300 miles) when the light comes on. Mileage has come down with the recent arctic weather.

My '00 1.6L VP auto sedan exceeds the speed limit easily without VTEC, even going west on I-70 out of Denver with a full load. I typically get around 350 miles to a tank on roadtrips, and fill up with about 10 gallons. The car will hold about 12gal if I run it all the way down.
Carry a gascan and run your tank to empty, if you want to check your capacity. Just don't do it often. The fuelpump likes to be kept cool by being surrounded by a relatively full tank.
My car gets worse mileage if I don't use it as often for longer trips.
