anyone noticed their car is slow?

RE: anyone noticed their car is slow?
I get 300 miles to the tank, fill up takes 10 gallons for me.
I'm about 70/30 between city and highway. My highway milage kinda sucks because I'm usually going about 80-85mph which is right arond 3500rpms.
I think 30mpg is pretty good considering my car is 12 years old. Hopefully some maintenence I'll be doing for my cars' 100k mile-stone will improve the gas milage a little.
(Clutch, ISB/seals, sea foam treatment, coolant flush, p/s fluid flush, oil change, fuel and air filters and a couple other things)

My 95 Civic LX used to get between 34-38 mpg. That remained constant from the time I bought it with 86k miles to the time it was wrecked at 203k miles. There was one instance where I got 40 mpg, but that was over a long drive from Northern Cal to Southern Cal. Due to a bad tire I kept it at 55 mph. Other then that one time I never drove it like a grandpa, but it was very well maintained.
I just bought my 99 Civic EX (to replace my beloved 95 LX). So far it looks like its getting 32 mpg. I've only had it for 3 tanks of gas though, but I must admit my VTEC is an addictive mechanism, which is bad for my mpg. I was going to baby it this tank, but I couldn't do it...

I have the best of everything! My 1999 Civic HX gets me 42 to 43.8 mpg weekly, weigh 2370 lbs, has 115 hp stock, and is rated 0-60 in 9.4 seconds. It's fun reving it in the VTEC range, and it feel a little sporty. Got a Weapon R, K&N type filter, and a Catback exhaust.
Most mileage before filling was 385 miles easily. Can probably do 500 miles on an 11.9 gal tank.
