I get 360 miles a tank. On my bone stock 92 VX Hatch. I drive it like I stole it.
How many gallons is your tank? I'm hittin' 'E' at right about 8 gallons (haven't run out yet, though - maybe my sender's toast or something).

I'm getting a solid 34mpg out of my '95 with only a half-assed CAI and 192K+ miles - and that's while pushing the car to move out into traffic.

It still feels slow compared to my other cars though, but it's my commuter - nothing more.

Today I'm at the half tank mark and it's at 315 miles. Totally awesome! My car is way better in mpg than any 08 non hybrid car in the USA!

If the 09 Fit and Prius aren't good enough, I'm gonna deck out my HX!

I have noticed that considering the overall design of the car, for economy and low emissions, that for 105hp it has some good kick when I let it pull past 3000 rpm. But like everyone is saying, it's awesome to drive around all week and not have to fill up till the weekend.

Summertime I have gotten over 400 before I fill up, but that's not pegging the E completely. This winter though I have gotten over 300. It's rated at 15 gallons I think but I have never tried to check capacity. I just divide my miles driven by gallons put in. All this on my 04 LX. Hopefully with good oil changes and overall maintenance I can keep it this way for years to come.

i have a '93 DX sedan... i drive like a grandpa now with the high gas prices. I go 60mph on the highway and shift fairly early... at 15/27/37/43 mph. I do a lot of highway driving and I get around 42 mpg.

I used to get 37mpg driving normally. Driving 60mph has made my freeway driving less stressful. I used to get annoyed at everyone cutting me off or driving slow in front of me. But now I don't worry about all that.. plus I spend less money on gas. All good.

well if your like me youll keep the truck for just a WORK VEHICLE.LOL
youll get twice the milage if not almost 3times with the civic over the truck!
i used to drive a 95C1500 extended cab with only a 305/auto. i love that truck so much BUT it was expensive to modify! and expensive just to drive to work! 75bucks a week for gas and your check is only about 250... well it hurts!
im loving the 30bucks a week now in my civic!

I'd saymy 99 Civicis rather slow in it's current stock form. My previous car was a high mileage 92 Eagle Talon TSI beater I had for 5 years. However, I was getting about 18-20 mpg with that car and I am enjoying my 30 mpg with the Civic. It is peppy enough to passand still pretty fun to drive.
