I had a civic before... Just ordered a new Si... dont own a Cobra. Im not taking sides and never said he couldnt beat one.

I also never said he couldnt drive... I said he talks like he just got done watching an episide of pinks (screenname reference?? Who knows??) and not like someone who knows anything about cars, but thanks captain save-a-noob.

you guys get on the defensive so fast... alright I'll join you two and end this argument: Lets all support illegal street racing on the highway because killing innocent families is fine by me. My friend died when I was 13. Got hit by a kid street racing on a back road. He was cool huh...

Lets support street racing and drunk driving while we're at it.

dude nothing against you. I was just saying, you already said your point about his choice. You are obviously correct. I just recently changed my siggy. It used to say do not street race in bold case, and i dislike street racers. But the point is, he won't change his mind, and there is nothing we can do about it, so just let it go and not just keep on bashing him.

Anyways this thread has no point to it anywhere. So Adios

and how is this not locked yet?

And cliffs for anybody who doesn't feel like reading 6 pages:
-PNK wants to race a cobra
-forty points out some inconsistencies in PNK's story
-PNK complains about forty
-it's generally decided that a modified cobra will rape a modified civic
-people (myself included) b***h about street racing
-Lost wants to name his cat Geoff
-a discussion about legal road races ensues
-PNK complains about being called out too many times
-PNK complains some more
-PNK misspells a lot of crap
-PNK is still complaining
-polo posts one of the most amusing posts I've read in a while (post #46)

My post simply said I didnt believe him solely by the way he speaks... simple as that, then I went on topic and posted some facts about the Cobra, never saying he couldnt win. He made it personal with insults and telling me to go **** myself.

He needs to realize that he cant come here, throw around his real or imaginary car and expect us to drop to our knees. He has some strange view that he is the only person here with a high powered civic. I have more respect for people here who have a 160hp civic that are doing modifications themselves, learning how things work and appreciating their car every step of the way as opposed to someone who supposidly buys a monster pre-built, has no knowledge about cars and wants to throw it in peoples faces.

Its not the buying a built car part... its him thinking he is on a pedestal. Its all about biulding for me. Im working a deal right now for a 67' mustang with full intentions of restoring and making it a beast. Thats my view on it...

Fact of the matter is PNK SLP Polo has been here far longer then you have, though he may not be as active as he once use to, and actually stepped down as a moderator, he does know his ****, and is respected by the more senior staff and members of HCF.

Asking a question like "can i beat a cobra in a street race" is just plain stupid, it's almost as stupid as the vette and mustang boys comming here saying how bad they just bead said civic in a race, it's ended up in banishment for them, and bitching about people stating the obvious is not going to make things any better for ya. i think the points that needed to be made have been made. Unless for soem strange and unknown reason someone wants to actually continue with this thread (by someone i mean the mods/admins) they are more then welcome to unlock this.

And let me be the last to say, if you really want to race this guy. do it in from of a croud at the track so that when you lose, you can be humiliated, or if you win you will have witnesses. but i for one, personally don't care if you win or not...
