Noone really flamed you... Jwmm04 kinda did I guess but he is usually pretty chill probably just a bad day over there haha..

Lol what was the point of this thread Best year to buy?

You asked us what is the best to mod but then you pick the worst one... Not Flaming you in any way, just saying the title should be "I wanna drop a K20 in my 7th Gen"

K20 Engines are awesome if you have the money which you, but its not unique really... like said before its mainly the only one you can easily swap in there...

H22 swap is possible but I doubt you would be able to do it without even knowing who you are and what you can do. **** you can throw just about any engine in your car, its possible just expensive....

Good luck your your car.

Yea basically every unique thing (that is cool or looks good) has been done so you might as well throw the whole "i want to be different" mentality out the window. Forget completely about being different (usually when people think about it they try too hard and it shows... in a bad way) and focus on what looks clean, what makes the power you want to make, and what handles the way you want it to handle.

In this case, you like the 7th gen. As I would not recommend it for modding, that is just because I cannot afford to drop in a K-series. If you can afford to, then go for it. I'm starting to like the 7th gen's appearance more and more, it's just the mod-ability that keeps me from wanting one.

I personally love the 92-95 coupes and hatchbacks

I used to have a 95 coupe with GSR swap, ctr cams, skunk2 manifold, 00 Si tranny, Skunk2 p28 ecu, etc.. and I loved that car so much I'm looking for another one at the moment to build.

My friend had a 93 hatch with K20 swap, all stock besides K-Pro and I must say that thing was scary fast!

Might have to go with K20 in my next civic build-up!

you remind me of another member who asks for advice when there mind is already made up on what they want.. so us giving advise is just a waste......
