Buy auto now or wait for stick?

If you get it, rescue it! If you plan on leaving the body kit alone, don't get it!
Honestly, I would wait for a manual. If you like driving manual transmission you will regret buying an automatic.
go for the civic

I'm going to have to agree with most of the people on here. Wait for the stick. The automatic makes the car much slower, and much less enjoyable. It would just become a regret.
As for you asking if the automatic would be worth it, it could be. It would only **** you off as the car is stock. But if you do decide to build the car, it will start paying off, especially at the race track. But of course, this is where opinions differ greatly. But with the higher power, you get better times in automatic. The stick shift has to worry about the launch and all the shifts. Making sure they double clutch like they should, and not just spinning the clutch. Whereas the automatic can launch under brake and get a good launch, and never miss a shift. Every shift is simply perfect. And always hits at the right time and has much faster shift times. So it all depends on where you want to go with that.
As I agree with Trust - that body kit looks kinda bad to me. BUT, if thats the style you like - get it. Forget what anyone else says. Everyone has their own style. Just don't put the huge metal wing on the back of any car you get.. for the love of god. =P

The automatic that comes in a Civic is a slushbox, you lose a ton of power through the transmission, and they can't handle much more hp over stock. Manual FTW.
So you think taking like a whole second to shift is perfect? I'm sorry but I can shift a hell of a lot faster than that with my 5 sp.

I know this, does that mean that Civic automatic transmissions aren't slushboxes that can't handle much more power over stock?

I was responding to this:
Oh and, I thought that double clutching was not for racing, and that they just said that on F&F because it sounded cool. lol. That's what i've read online at least...

Well I emailed that person with the Ex, never got anything back. I hate people who have you email, talking on the phone is so much better and easier. I sent a couple of emails and not a single response so it looks like it was sold... so I keep looking. Getting sick of this!

A perfect example of what I was saying in response to Punisher.
