can you put a dohc head on a sohc zc?

Default can you put a dohc head on a sohc zc?

i have a sohc zc motor cant get a straight anser as to what parts i can use and swap around i want a dohc vtec motor when im dun but if i can put a dohc head on my zc id like to do that and in order to make the zc vtec sohc minime idn what ecu or wireing harness to use and it needs rings where can i get those? oh and it had that 2 injector setup in it kus its a dx what can i do to make it 4 injector set up soo i can put a diffrent intake manifold on it

I'm pretty sure that a DOHC head will not fit on a SOHC block. At least that is the case with the USDM D-series engines. Since your rings are bad anyway, look for a complete engine to swap in.

well i no there is a dohc zc and a sohc zc was wondering if you can make the dohc one a vtec and if soo would the zc dohc head fit on the sohc block and would you no if i can bult on a si gauge with a tach or would it be ez-er to just buy a tach and put it in?

yes the dohc zc head is the ONLY head that will fit on a sohc block

for the si gauge it just plugs rite up, no extra wiring needed. the tach will work

for the coverting from 2 fuel injectors (dpfi) to the 4 fuel injector system (mpfi) is a big gain you will like it.

Your not going to find a DOHC ZC with Vtec.
