Personally with the extent of the damage, I would sell it for parts. In the long run you will probably be better off money-wise. If you do end up keeping it and fixing it, make the 1st thing on your to-do list be to get a good alarm system, and install a fuel cutoff switch (takes 15 minutes). Do anything else you think of to even remotely deter theft, like buy a steering wheel or brake pedal lock.

Hell, if you have a loud stereo, when you get out of the car, turn it all the way up. That way if you are sleeping at night, and you suddenly hear Slipknot or Slayer blasting in the middle of the night, then that means it's time to grab the 12 guage and go investigate. It can work as an alarm too, itwill atract attention, andit will absolutely scare the **** out of anyone that is stealing your car in the middle of the night when it is totally quiet outside. That is how I made my cousin poop his pants oncewhen I told him to put my windows up lol.

i would say your looking at close to 1,000 dollars for everything.

 

I tried buying replacement parts off ebay for my tacoma when I drove it off a cliff. I got lucky and got a good deal on the parts. Just be careful
