planning to redo the wheels sometime soon. I am currently searching on craigslist for a pair of steelies to slap on while i have the HXs off to paint. Currently its black with polish lip. I am currently thinking of flat black, bronze, or gunmetal. Out of these options which would look good on a silver EJ Civic? Or should i keep it the way it is now? Or any other suggestions?

To me its in between gunmetal and bronze. i think both would look sick on a silver civic.

IMO chrome lip is getting played out, over here everyone seems to have chrome lips..
Not saying it looks bad, but its just too common nowdays (at least around here where i live)

 

i detest my bronze wheels. polish them dudes out! hobo, dont u dare get rid of the phone dials. theyre ultimate cool. they would look sick on my rex.

 

They're my winter beaters. I used to like them. Hate them now. Paint is chipping, should have done better prep on the lips. Faces are still good. Haven't had to repolish them, just dust them off. But they're so fugly.

Back on topic... GUNMETAL! It's OVER 9000!

 

Exactly why i want to redo them. See black and chrome lip everywhere. its too common.

i'm torn between gunmetal and bronze at the moment. anyone able to find pics of silver civics with bronze or gunmetal wheels? doesnt have to be hx

Green! Like not bright green, but just a normal green. If you're not trying to be flashy, I think bronze would look great too.
