Default Control Arm

On thrusday is discovered that a bolt on the control arm had snapped. THe bolt seems to connect the two parts of the control arm together. This control arm is on the right side of my 1994 Civic LX Sedan. I went to the honda dealership (two actually) and the guy showed me a diagram off all the parts in the suspension system (or so it seemed) and i told him which bolt i needed. He replied that Honda does not sell that bolt, the bolt only comes with the control arm. I really don't wanna spend $400 to buy a new control arm because of broken bolt. Does any1 know where i can find the bolt that i need. I live in Chicago (actually Des Plaines, IL if you know where that is)

Default RE: Control Arm

Not surprised the dealership told you that. Most likely they can only get the assembly.

Try a wrecking yard and get a used arm and use the bolt from it. Additionally if you know the specs of the bolt you most likely could get one from a industrial parts house.
