Sooo.... it is for emissions purposes? Because I believe before you said it wasn't due to emissions

No, you're being a picky аsshоle, Chris. OBD is mostly for emissions. Yes, you will pass inspection in a state where emissions testing isn't required, however it doesn't change the fact that it's illegal to tamper with emissions equipment.

I love not having to worry about that my state has absolutely no testing or inspections.

wow thanks for all the advice im just going to use a D16Y7 or Y8 block and for the record i live out in CA and smog laws are really tough.
