hey people, im a new member to the forum and im lookin to purchase my first civic. I have the opportunity to buy a 1999 civic jordan. It has 31k miles and a few mods aswell, owner says its been roller roaded at 190bhp but dont know it thats true as i havent seen the print out. The owner is askin about £7000 but i thought i would seek the advice of people that really know what theyr talkin bout at least i hope u all do any advice would be great!

Thats really low mileage on a 99, but if it's putting down 190 hp to the wheels, it's been modified so I would check on it's maintenance records with the owner.

by the way, what is 7000 lbs converted into US dollars?

 

yeh it has been modded and the owners has full receipts for all mods, i rekon £7000 in us dollars is roughly $13350 to $13400 i dont know exactly

 

About 2.03 dollars per pound. It's not a good time to take our US dollars abroad.

 

yeh not wise to *** visit bonny scotland just now, you wouldn't want to either not with the weather it sux! the civics wud just spin if you gave it some juice

 

Wow... that kind of seems like a rip off actually. I don't care if it only has 31k miles, 13 thousand is a bit high for an8 year old car.

 

7000 lb's is $14.416 us dollars and yes that seems high to us but our $1 dollar is worth2.05 lb's

 

^ so what ur sayign it not a bad deal? to me with 14.416 U.S dollar u can buy a brand new 2007 civic for tht price but thats just me
