I. Thought it was 200 on the sohc non vtec and 225 on the vtec

Maybe with a D15B7... D16A6 is a decent D-series

I would do a vaccum and leak down test as well as the compression. This will tell you all about your rings, valves, head gasket and any vacuum leaks ect. You will want your motor to be in the high percentage of the test ranges to boost the motor.

Ok had the engine tested and everything is good to go and everything is good. Next question where should I get some better connecting rods and pistons from so I can do some forged internals ?
