engine swaps
how easy is it to swap a 2.2vtec into a 1.6vti engine bay?
im thinking the 94 shape civic(sorry i dont know the name of them)
im a mechanic so whipping one out and in wont be a problem, but is there anything majorly difficult about the whole swop?

RE: engine swaps
its not easy, but you need fabrication skills to make it work.
you need motor mounts, new axles, a prelude shifter assembly with cables. h22, trans, wire harness, ecu.
the mounts can be bolted or welded in depending on what brand mounts you get. www.hasport.com
the shifter needs to be custom fitted to the civic location which requires cutting.
make sure to get an obd 1 h22 because a 94 is obd 1 so wireing will be easier(if thats possible). also if it isn't a vtec equiped you will need to wire up vtec.
i never done the swap so this is just what i know you have to doand what i have seen done. more is nessesary i am sure
