Exhaust question

Default Exhaust question

Hey guys i jus was wondering if its possible to have the full exhaust system without the loud muffler?

well i was meaning after market wise. gettin a bigger diameter size piping but keeping the stock muffler. is it possible?

Sure just have a muffler shop replace all the pipe between the converter and the muffler with larger pipe. Expensive but you "could" do it. I'm not sure what good it would do.

lol....guess it was a dumb question. But thanx 4 the response. What do u guys suggest for nice a aftermarket exhaust system? Dont want anything raspy and loud. Looking for something with a more throaty/deep sound. Oh its for a 96 dx coupe d16y7

i would go with the ws2 by apexi or the sp2 by greddy. those are my favorite for low sounding exhaust. there are a few other ones out there though

I'm a fan of the evo2. Not too loud but at least you know your car has an exhaust on it. lol!

+1, your exhaust is only as good as it's most restrictive component
