Default Getting to know my car

Hey all,

New here are HCF and I just want to say that I am glad to see others want to talk about their civics as much as I do. I have a question, I hope someone has an answer.

How can you tell where your car was made?

I want to find out as much as I can about my civic. Its a 2004 blue 4 door SI tricked out with the sport package. The car is about as sporty as a small family sedan can get. I want to know where it was made, what time did it roll off the line, etc.. I understand that you can tell this from the VIN number but I don't know how to read it.

Can anyone help

Not sure about the VIN #'s, but Hondas usually have a small plate riveted either somewhere under the hood, on the bottom or back of the door frame, or the driver's side A pillar. This usually tells you what city/country it was made in and what date it rolled off on.
