Default head confusion

hi folks. I have purchased a used b18c itr engine and trans -I think. It was sold to me as a 98spec package. I have read about pr3-2,pr3-3,and pr3-4 casting numbers on the head but my head is pr3-1. The engine/trans has b18c, p72 on the block,p73 on intake, green paint near distributor,a2xxxxxxxx number on stamp pad. trans has s80,ne3,lsd. I have not removed the pan to ckeck crank and rods for p73 yet - but i have read that pr3-2 is a 96 spec head. what have i got for a head with pr3-1? Junk or proper head?

pr3 head is a b16 head

if you want to know the year it will also have a year stamp just to the right of the pr3 stamp

thanks for the direction on the pr3-1 question. now I was told to look to the right of the pr3-1 stamp to determine the year of the head. all there is there is Hm. To the left a few inches is four round circles with 98 5 18 90. Does this mean May of 98 or just more casting numbers?

Hi folks-me again. I am trying to determine the year of my JDM b18c block. Is there a production date on the block.
