Unhappy help with understanding my gsr swap :(

95 civic ex w/ b18c1. it has type R intake, type R intake manifold.. plus other things. My question is vtec cracks hard around 5,500 - 6,000 RPM but isnt the b18c1 supposed to vtec at 4,400? the type R hits vtec at 6,000.. did the type R intake manifold only recognize power at 6,000? my question is by having this manifold am i gaining or losing power ?? thanks for the help guys !

Gaining if you are adding more fuel with that. What other supporting mods do you have?

my gsr hit vtec at 5600. thats where its suposed to hit.
go ahead and pick up a chilton for a gsr and for a civic.
you"ll get alot of answers on redlines and power bands out of those as well
you also sould run new injectors if you are running type R manifold anyway
