Yep, that's better. But don't foget to route part of this window exhaust back into basement room....

i think by allowing some of the airflow out of the engine bay area through the hood tilt, you reduce the ambient temp of the engine bay, which would result in lower heat transfer to the cabin air vent tubing, which passes through the back of/is in direct contact with the firewall..

hot ambient air in engine bay, heats firewall, heats vent structure...
