How do you install
hey i own a 1998 4 door honda civic and i just bought a front R34 style bumper. now i have never installed a body kit does any one know how easy it is to install one. thanks for the response
It all depends on the quality of the kit you bought it could be as simple as making a few holes and installing the screws all the way to cutting and molding the kit to fit on the car. My best opinion I could give you is to take it to a reputible body shop and let them install it if you dont have any experince with body work GL with the build
On a 98, it's as simple. There are two screws on the sides in the fender wells. There are 7 plastic clips under the hood on the front. And there are usually screws or bolts, maybe 4 or so, on the underside of the bumper. They would be very obvious. Remove all, thing comes off, new one goes on.
^ That.
When I was removing my bumper and re-installing it on a weekly basis, I had the uninstall time down to about thirty seconds to a minute (but I completely removed the fender liners and splash guard) and the re-install time to around a minute.
