most people go for a AEM V2 intake, which is a really good brand..look though some of the pages in our intake section on the forum, or just use our search button and search AEM V2, alot of info on them on here...

for some good prices on them, check out our Vendors

I am not good with all that junk I just know you need to because you have more air in so your car thinks well hell lets put more fuel in so you must tell it that there is enough air so it can balance it out? or something like that?

You don't need to change anything, the ecu compensates for the difference in air flow, thats why the intake has that censor on it.

Here is my simota... i just chopped a piece out of it to fit in a bypass valve... LIFESAVER in the rain for my car!

I took off the battery to get it in there without having to remove the bumper... i hear unplugging the negative on the battery resets the car to the new intake... but for an intake on civics I doubt it really does anything...

Is the bypass valve the black thing in the middle of the intake? How does it work? Lastly, does it affect performance?
