they will total yours out, which means they take your car, or you can buy it back from them for parts, how many miles are on your car?? you can look up kelly blue book thats a estimate of what they will give you.

well i looked up your car on kbb and its around 3k value. now when you say cars are going for 4-6500 in your area you mean dealer right..???

chris, take the cash, get on mautofied, score a b swapped car, and enjoy life. trust me dude. get a crx with a b swap and be happy...

3k is plenty enough to get a civic, dont buy from a dealer, take a look on mautofied.com
or your local craigslist.

buy your civic back form the insurance company and find a civic shell and put your motor into it.

btw: crx does come with a/c.

CRX is better looking than a civic with altezzas...........

But on a serious not, you should get more than 3K......... My 97 DX was a piece seriously, and I got 4400 for it......

my 96 lx was totaled about a year ago when a tow truck backed into me.. all front end body damage.. gave me 3200, but it back for 100, bought an entire front end off a 98 hatch that was being converted to 99-00 for 800 and pocketed change!
