UPDATE!!!
alright i just went to the auto colosion repair shop that the insuence company told me to go through,
and they had to take a crap load of pictures and was on the computer for about 45 minutes, and finaly brought back 4 pages of paper work
after everything that needed to be done, it would cost 4240.70
and well he said they will probably total it out, the same kind of cars in my area are going for 4000-6500
will they give me that much?
or will they just fix it?

they will total yours out, which means they take your car, or you can buy it back from them for parts, how many miles are on your car?? you can look up kelly blue book thats a estimate of what they will give you.

yes i mean dearler, and kids my age selling their civics
the only thing different between most of mine and theirs is suspension, mine is all stock,
i have 111,000 miles on the car, and i just swap the engine, so betweeen 30,000-60,000
i have most stock pparts.
if they give me say 3k
there is NO way i will be able to get a civic similar to mine
and brent, i dont want a fast car, i want a car thats clean hah
the crx looks old and doesnt have ac!

3k is plenty enough to get a civic, dont buy from a dealer, take a look on mautofied.com
or your local craigslist.
buy your civic back form the insurance company and find a civic shell and put your motor into it.
btw: crx does come with a/c.

my 96 lx was totaled about a year ago when a tow truck backed into me.. all front end body damage.. gave me 3200, but it back for 100, bought an entire front end off a 98 hatch that was being converted to 99-00 for 800 and pocketed change!

well i got 4240.70
and i get to keep my car.
so i am parting everything out
i hope to get atleast 650 i got for my engine!
i am not sure if i want a civic or not.
there are a couple integra's out there that have been calling my name!!!
if i get a civic it'd be a hatch with a clean swap =) and A/c
ha it gets hot here in the california desert!
