You have to buy custom mounts and axles, but keep in mind you don't necessarily have to buy a swap kit as the engine/transmission was sold in USDM Preludes.

If you buy a swap kit from an importer, the total cost (including doing a tune-up and replacing the clutch before installing the engine) usually comes up to around $4k.

just buy a ****ty looking automatic integra that runs and drives and swap everything into your civic then part the integra out and sale your old motor and trans to make your $$$$ back, after done you wont have much invested into your swap, you could come out + if you find a cheap one

My b16 isnt built tho! On the other hand, i sure dont think a b16 would perform well when mated to an automatic trans. LS swap would be my vote.

^well i was just saying that I've read that most ppl that upgrade from a D16z6/y8 to a B16 say it wasnt worth it. but idk i've never drove a b16 civic lol

and yeah i agree on the LS as well.
buying parts separately is probably a cheaper choice uh. compared to buying the whole change over.

i personally liked the b16 more than the b18. the only down fall was the low end torque sucked. but a ls vtec would cure that

I say z6 swap for now to alleviate your leaks and crap then boost it later when u have more cash. If bisimoto can make a 700 hp D series im sure you can build a D up to at least something more realistic that you can be happy with. I used to want a B18 swap but I decided screw it id rather put that money into building a good D.

Eh, no boost on this car. It's a 4 door and it has been wrecked 4 times. Just a DD for me.

Then i say get a z6 or a y8.
it would be an upgrade from your current engine, Automatic and it would be just a drop in!
and much cheaper as well..

find a complete y8, replace all seals, timing belt, water and ALL before installing into the car, then install it and wire vtec and ecu, you will have a very reliable long lasting civic
