They do actually come black.. I used a SEM interior dye (SEM Color Coat) to do mine. It's not the color 100% perfect, but in sunlight it's hard to tell..

I can vouch for the SEM. GREAT stuff. Use that same kind he told you about. It's ten times better than any other paint you'll find.
