lower back strut bar

Default lower back strut bar

Do i need the car off the ground to install a lower rear strt bar, can i just drive it up the ramps?

well if you can get under your car while its on the ground and work on it then be my guest. lol You will definitely need to get the back end off the ground, gl with the install!

i mean he tires lifted off the ground, like on a jack.. i dont have a jack i drive it up ramps. i want to know if i need the tries off the ground to install the thing, i dont want the car to slam down or what not, then im f^ck. i dont have the part yet, i just want to know the install befor i buy.

my car is lowered some and I can access the rear lower control arm bolts(where the rear lower tie bar is installed)

ramps would help, but unless you're big you should be able to fit under.

Thanks, i just bought a red megan strut for $70. what i was trying to get at was, like you need to jack the car up to remove a tire, i was asking do i need to do the same to install a lower strut get the itres off the ground. yet you guys realy never gave me a full answer, but i figerd you didnt with the replys.

no ur not going to fit under the car, it will be a horrible install. No you dont need to take the tires off, just rolled up on the ramps and you will be fine. GL with the install.
