the meaning of "VTEC"

Question the meaning of "VTEC"

i usually tell people it means valve timing electronic control. but is that wrong should i be sayin variable valve timing lift electronic control or is the way i say it just fine. plus its shorter

They mean the same thing. People shorten it to VTEC (even Honda did it if you look at it that way).

you still got some words reversed

it's Variable Valve Timing And Electronic Lift Control

but no biggie of course
