Default My car is being wierd...please help me troubleshoot!!!

Wassup guys i have a 00 ex d16y8 and when i first bought it all was good. well now i have no fawkn power below 5k rpms, and also it kinda bogs down when i take off, even WOT. im trying to figure this out, when i hit the gas it goes and bogs then takes off as normal and goes back to bogging again. it does it at a different rpm everytime, and doesnt do it when its cooler outside? i dont have a cel or anything and i cant figure it out, i changed the plugs and fuel filter but it still does it, im thinking mabe the upstream 02 sensor? any ideas?

Have you changed the plug wires, cap, and rotor? Have you checked the ignition timing with a timing gun?

Does the problem only occur after the engine is hot?

When you say that the timing is dead on, do you mean the mechanical/cam timing or the ignition timing? For the latter, did you use a timing gun with the service connector jumped?

So the problem can occur from either a cold start or after the engine is hot? Is the engine overheating? Is the coolant level low in the radiator?
